So I have a black Trans Am WS6 and wanted to get some blackbird stripes for it. I talked to Shawn at Fourth Circle Designs and ended up ordering the Charcoal Metallic stripes from him. It was originally between the Silver Metallic or Charcoal Metallic but I said I wanted a more subtle look than the silver and he recommended the Charcoal. I took some pics and hopefully you can see that these stripes are not charcoal, they are black. They were in fact the charcoal stripes I guess, it's just that they are actually black in color. I just sent him an email also and hopefully we'll be able to fix the situation but I just don't see how anyone could recommend these for a black car. You just cannot see them and now I am going back out to take them off. They do not even have that "cool" ghost effect or anything like that to them, they just blend in perfectly.



Just wanted to post a warning to anyone else out there with a black car, do not order charcoal.. it is the same as black.

thanks for the heads up, I was actually thinking about that color when I went for the silver metallic for my blackbird stripes on my NBM car. They ended up being really light, almost white so the colors aren't quite the same as the pictures on that page. I ordered from him too btw and have done so for all my decal needs.

Here's gunmetal, they look nearly invisible at some angles, but in the sunlight they pop out like nutz!

I've ordered charcoal decals from him before and they were that color^^. I've ordered many decals from him and he's always been very very helpful.

Agree he was very helpful.. we had a series of 5-6 emails back and forth on me ordering the color and him helping me pick it out. It's just the fact that those are not my idea of "charcoal" at all nor something I would recommend to anyone for a black car. That "Gunmetal" color is exactly what I was going for and I will try to get those instead.

No, it's charcoal. The ones you installed are black. I had charcoal on before and they were slightly visible like Phatom's.

Those are almost invisible, they blend right in with the paint.

Thats what you get for letting someone else pick something out for your car No in all honesty, he might have made a mistake. Hes a top notch guy and I got my stripes from him also. Im sure your problem will get fixed. But go with gunmetal!

I didn't let someone else pick out my color.. haha looking at the Fourth Circle Design color chart Charcoal is much lighter than what I got..

Anyway like someone else said that might honestly be black even though he told me for sure he sent me Charcoal Metallic. If that is Charcoal I will try getting the "Gunmetal" color even though it's not on his chart. Thanks guys.

Just to follow up.. that is in fact the "Charcoal Metallic" color.

Shawn at Fourth Circle Designs is a stand up guy and is sending me a new set for free so great customer service there and highly recommend him, just don't get Charcoal if you have a black car.
