Default Pictures of my new rollbar painted Pewter **UPDATED**

Also posted this in Drag Racing...but it also fits here

Its a 6-point Chromemoly rollbar with dual swingouts done by a local welder here. Just finished painting it Pewter (basecoat/clearcoat). Just finished welding it in the car today...here are the final pictures

Enjoy

Looks really nice!
If I were to ever get a roll bar I would paint it the same color of the car or a silver.

off the subject.... what exhaust set up do you have? I just installed the same heads and hoping for those numbers your cars putting out or higher. And is that time with stock weight?

Dynatech stepped headers. 3" mandrel y-pipe with dual 3" bullet mufflers in the legs of the y (custom made) into a dual 3 x 3.5" Flowmaster Y-collector reduced down to 3". From there it goes thru a borla catback (open plate)

Heads are milled .040 (5.3L heads) and I run a 232/232 112 cam.

I like it. Did you paint it or have someone else do it? If you dont mind how much did it cost?
Thanks

I painted it with PPG DBC series basecoat/clearcoat (top of line...so they say at PPG). Materials was NOT cheap. 350 for the rollbar, 260 for the swingout kit, 195 for the paint supplies

Of course then you have welder's costs
