Default No more rattle cans, your custom powdercoater has arrived, plastic intake specialist!!

Hey All..

I'm a long time supermod here, and started a new business doing custom powdercoating, polishing, and can add on porting as well. I imagine most of you have seen my little 9 second street car on here a time or two

My theory is simple, to bring HIGH quality work at AFFORDABLE pricing to all my friends here on LS1Tech. One of my specialties is powdercoating our plastic GM and FAST intake manifolds. Yes it can be safely done and the finish and durability will blow away any body shop paint job, guaranteed! Why spend hundreds of dollars to pay a body shop to sand, prime, paint, and clear your intake when you can have the finish and durability of powdercoat for as little as $139 from me?

If you can dream it, I will coat it!

My website is being built, but the domain will be www.thepowderpro.com

Here's some pics of just this week's work for a couple other moderators and local racers and my camaro also of course, hosted on Fquick for now..I apologize in advance I am NO cameraman, in fact I really stink, but you'll get the idea lol

FAST intake in mirror red, hand painted letters, and super gloss clear

Rally silver LS6 intake with super gloss clear, translucent grape speed inc rails with polished brackets, grape throttle body. grape hardly shows in pics,i tried lol

"Near Chrome" LS6 intake with ported throttle body in mirror black, near chrome cable bracket and polished return spring and IAC motor.

above throttle body by itself

"Near Chrome" valve covers

Mirror black valve covers

Mirror black LS6 intake

Mirror black calipers

ported and polished stock MAF

Catch can stripped and polished, the bracket is chrome powder(without clear, must have clear even though it dulls it)

Speed Inc rails stripped and polished

Grape MAF, rails, caps, etc. sensor itself painted and cleared..

Rally silver VC with clear, rally silver packs with clear, grape bracket..

Polished throttle body, pardon the lip and bondo, its a junker I found that I polished as an example, won't be used.

Ok that should be enough powder **** for now lol...

some pricing..like I said, QUALITY and AFORDABLE..

GM Intakes:
standard colors are $139, specialty(candies, metallics, etc) and "chrome" are $179.
FAST Intakes:
This includes as you see, the color, the hand painting of the letters in color of your choice, and then super gloss clear over it all. Standard colors are $169, specialties and "chrome" are $199.

Some other typical parts for example:

Brake Calipers(factory, all 4)
$185 for standard colors and $215 for specialty. This includes dissasembly, media blasting, and re assembly of the calipers, price can't be beat!

Throttle body: Standard color $55, specialty is $75. Polished exterior is $100.
You can add full porting, halfed shaft, etc for $60.

MAF sensor(sanded and smoothed exterior performed always) Standard:$35, specialty $50. Polished exterior is $50 as well. Add porting for $35. Add painting and clearcoating of sensor itself for $30.

Coil brackets are $20 for standard and $30 for specialty.

Fuel rails(pair) are $25 for standard,$35 for specialty, or $35 for polished.

Valve covers(stock) are $65 for standard and $85 for specialty. I can also do custom things like powder the recessed center lines of the valve covers a different color if you'd like!

I am glad to quote any custom piece you need done, just PM me and I'll be glad to talk to you about it.

Turnaround times will always be honest and as accurate as possible, I PROMISE this to you. I've been here too long(5 years as a moderator alone) to not care about you and your project(s).

On occasion I will be working together with Josh(Damian) owner of Spartan Performance on porting throttle bodies in order to ensure great customer service, we'll try to keep cores on hand. Regardless of which one of us does the porting, it will make horsepower!!

All prices above figure in any typical cleaning/degreasing and/or media blasting time needed to prepare part. If you send parts that have been painted or are exceptionally dirty, my additional rate for blasting is $40 per hour(average is $50 for most powdercoaters).

Whew, my motherload post is finally over..fire away on the comments, questions, and of course lets see some orders, I'm ready when you are!

Sean

How about doing some LT1 parts? I need an intake manifold coated in black but with the fins on top polished. This is an extra I have sitting around so everything is already taken off of it and it is pretty clean as I started to smooth it out a little bit so it would look smooth after being coated. Also I may want my TB polished or coated, do you also port these since they are LT1 and require different butterflies?

No problem on the LT1 intake. Coating it and leaving the fins on top polished isn't a big deal. I'll shoot you a PM right now and we'll chat.

they are pretty labor intensive on the cleaning/prep side so I'd say could be a couple evenings to get them done typically.

ps-my kids will appreciate the education, thanks

Gorgeous, I will have an LS6 intake, valve covers and probably a throttle body for you very soon. Should I assume Grape is the closest to NBM?

nope, the grape is purple. I did it to match the purple on the front of my car. its hard to tell in any pics of my car since the car has a irradescent clear coat over the candies but it is a deep purple in person, it just looks somewhat blue depending on the light because of that irradescent clear

I had one PM on your color already, I'll start investigating some base and topcoat combos that will match it. Just let me know when you want to send the parts
