FRC's Completed with Brent's Vinyl!!!
Fianlly got these things done with the decals and all. I painted them with Commercial Coatings' Ford Red engine paint, put on Brent's decals, and then put on a coat of Duplicolor clear high temp paint. I filled in the "CORVETTE" with JB Weld before all of this. I also put some decals on the Whisper lid to add some spice, also Brent's. Thanks a lot Brent!!!
Enjoy

looks good.. try takin that tape off the fuel lines since you have the FRC's there now to keep the main heat off of them. Also, try using new black tubing in place of that red in some places. Im beting black tubing would look 2 times better on that hugger orange. For some reason black tubing makes everything look simple, clean, and nice! I took most of the red off of mine(left only 1 piece on each fender from back to front) and did them all back in black. Looks 3 times better than red loom everywhere!

why are you guys ragging this poor guy over 4 cubes? Didn't you know that alot of older SBC engines were rounded up for their size designation?
I don't like the red stuff on Hugger Orange either. Probably would have stuck with black, silver or hugger orange accents. Just my opinion

Looks good. Do they have some LS1 school that I don't know about? What class do you have to take for all this "knowledge"?? Does the car go fast? Do you like to drive it? Who cares what size. Old schoolers still call them 350's too. I thought this was appearance, not "tell someone he's a dumbass".

Well almost every 402 BB Chevy put into a vehicle from the factory was referred to as a 396 by the factory...Ford calls their 302 a 5L when it's really a 4.9L.I personally call my LS1 a 346 but that doesn't mean everyone else has too.
I think you did a great job on the covers but think they would look alot better in silver, black, or white. Depends on what kind of accent color you decide to go with.I'm with the other guys on the wire loom. The red looks out of place try it with black if you must have it.Might make it blend in and look more like it belongs.
All just _my_ opinion. If YOU like it like that you should keep it like that.
