Finally got y new hood!
Well my new hood finally came in. Its the VFN 4 inch and let me tell yall it is a very high quality piece! I always read about guys getting these hoods and saying it fit better than the stocker and was scepticall(sp?) to say the least, but now I know its true! Ive never done any sort of body work in my life and I was able to mount and adjust this hood in less than 20 minutes!
So here she is
Before...
After!!!!
honestly the pics dont do it justice, it looks way better in person. Got to say it looks great and I want to thank Mark (6LE) for helping me pic it out!
Ok let the flame fest begin...ew its gross! It looks so 70's! Red neck! Ugly! Those dont belong on 4th gens! You should have got a sunoco like every other person on the board!
If you feel that way I really dont care! I like it!

ya its kinda over the top but it looks great.
As far as seeing the road visibility is good, just cant see the area around the passengers side headlight area.

thanks fellas. Ya Im holding off for a while, the 600 that it would cost for paint has better places to go for now.
I do need to get hood pins though, this thing is a bitch to close even without the struts attatched, the latch will barely close, the hood is just too light!
