Default Circle D - New Street Series Billet Converters!!

We have a new product to offer the LS1 owners. It is our new Street Series Billet Torque Converter. It has a billet front cover, billet piston, high carbon lining, bearing between the front cover and turbine for proper clutch clearance. It is fully furnace brazed and tig welded to re-enforce the tips of the blades, and it has a flanged hub for added strength. It is the perfect converter for the street racer who wants a strong billet converter but does not want to break the bank. We are offering these converters at an introductory price of $645 with free shipping of course. That is $50 off the normal price. This is the strongest converter for the money. No worries about a puny lock up clutch failing and taking out your tranny. It is a billet piece with 35 Square Inches of High carbon lining. We have updated the website with pics and a better description. We are of course offering our custom billet converters still, the Billet Racer and Billet Pro Series. $50 of those as well, and free shipping. Please call, email, or PM for any questions.

Here are a few pictures of the Billet Street Series - Stage I.

A cool layout of the converter.

This is inside of the billet front, You can see the bearing I add to properly support the turbine and setup clutch clearance. This is a Circle D upgrade, other billet converters have nothing here.

This is the outside of the billet front, this is the main difference between the Stage I and Stage II. The Stage II is a much stronger front cover, it has the re-enforcement spokes to handle the big power. This converter will safely handle 450 RWHP.

450rwhp? sounds pretty conservative as my stock converter handled 600rwhp or are you referring to the lock-up clutch? looks awesome and i plan on getting one of your 4L80 converters

It is conservative. Basically the new converter is intended for a street racer who does not visit the 1320 every weekend. It gives me another option and can save some guys some money. I like using my Stage II series with a stronger billet front for the highly modified LS car with 550 or 650 RWHP and goes to the track every weekend. So it really depends on intended usage.

OK, makes sense. I'll most likely go with the stronger unit for my combo. Any updates on the 4L80 converters?

I have the 80 currently available for the LS style conversion. I will have a direct 80 replacement in 3 weeks, 6 lug billet front. I am only building the 80 in a 3 Disk Stage III Billet Pro Series. Anybody who needs a 4L80 needs a very strong converter.

Still finalizing prices, should be comparable to the 4L60 stuff.
