Default Need recommendation for converter. 370ci/pt88 Turbo/TH400

Any suggestions? The car will be dialed in to run in the mid-9's, prolly make 850-900hp. It will see a lot of street time as well. I know Chance is the best, but they also the most expensive. I currently have a 9" Chance paperweight in my garage right now(cause nobody will buy it) and don't want another one if I can help it. I was looking at ATI and PTC, just wanted to get some opinions and see if there are any I am overlooking? Thanks.

Coan does really good but for your power level you'll be looking at $1200 to spend again no matter who you buy it from..any way they can change yours to work with the turbo/?

We can definitely build something for you. It will be our Stage III for 1000+hp cars. Give me call and I can go over all the options.

I picked FTI. They have made some strong converters for the guys out of Fl, and there is a certain gto running low 9's and will be in the 8's real soon with twin turbo's that is running FTI's converter. He is very satisfied with their work so far.

+1 for FTI. I was daily driving my 5200 stalled nitrous assisted 408 (9.33 @ 146) until I blew it up recently. Under part throttle I could take off from a light with traffic at about 2500 RPM but when you mashed the gas it was 5200 all day long. I am doing a turbo build now and am just gonna see how it behaves. Greg is a super guy and has yet to make me a promise that he hasn't delivered on. Most of the local guys have converted over.
