Tranny Trouble
Just blew out my rear end at the track last weekend on my 2000 camaro and had the gears swapped back to stock. When we drove the car it had a wierd delay as if it was having trouble moving fluid inside the tranny. No leaks but the tranny fluid is dark and smells burnt. Anyone ever had tranny issues after blowing out the rear end at all?? Trying to figure out why the delay

Sounds like what it must be. Problem was noticed while the car was is overdrive and the car seems to be as healthy as can be in every gear except overdrive. Works just fine in reverse as well. So the low rollers are bad is what youre figuring? We were wondering if maybe a seal blew. And the input sprag as well?

well if the worse is in 4th its likley the input sprag , However in a failure like that I would replace both the low roller and the inputs sprag and if the input sprag is seized I would also carefully inspect the input drum or replace it. Since its is also a weaker part and would have also taken a very hard hit.
