'04 GTO A4......Corvette Servo?
I have a 13k mile 4L60e tranny from a wrecked GTO behind a cammed LQ4 6.0 in my '75 Datsun Z. I am running a stock 6.0 truck (modified) harness and matching (tuned) PCM.
The car runs great, but when the tranny shifts from 1st to 2nd at WOT the shift isn't as firm as I'd like.
I considered installing a Corvette servo, but some of the local GTO guys say my tranny already has one installed from the factory.
I also read that the stock GTO PCM tells the trans to use more line pressure. Since my PCM is from a 2004 truck, it wouldn't tell the trans to do the same thing. Is there any truth in that?
Any help is welcomed and thanked in advance.

Im pretty sure it does. Your issue could be your tune though. My 04 a4 GTO barked the tires on 2nd since the day I bought it, and it still does at nearly 60k miles with wider than stock tires.
