Default 4l60e bucking after rebuild, BUILDERS INSIDE.

I just recently rebuilt my 4l60e, and after reinstallation the car now "bucks" when the converter locks and I let off of the throttle. Ive done much research and have removed and dissasembled the transmission three times now and cant seem to find anything wrong.
HERE ARE THE PARTS I'VE USED.

KOLENE STEELS
RED FRICTIONS
CARBON FIBER 2/4 BAND
NEW TCC SOLENOID
TRANS GO SEPERATOR PLATE
SUPIERIOR SHIFT KIT

I would first verify that the converter is being commanded to unlock

When i apply the brakes it does unlock, and stops "bucking". I forgot to add that above 65 mph it seems to smooth out.

Well since when you hit the brake it stops that means the lockup function is working properly. I would say you need to look at data and see whats happeing there.

I think your on to somthing, because now that i think of it it did not unlock when i was off the throttle and correct me if im wrong but i think that the tcc/pwm solenoid is controlled by throttle postion.

Maybe the LS1 PCM and trans's are differnet, but my car doesnt unlock when i take my foot off the gas. It will unlock once i press the brake or obviously go below the lock up point. Other then that it stays locked. i was thinking maybe its just some cam surge but i guess not.

The brake pedal kills the voltage supply on most tcc setups .The pcm supplies the ground and closed throttle should command unlock . You need to scan it if possible to find out what's being comanded .
I have also seen a shorted wire on the ground side of the solenoid circuit cause the symptoms that you have !!

Tuning would be my first guess. However on this rebuilt you posted that you installed a superior kit. If I remember correctly the late model kit comes with a converter clutch valve for the pump. Does it also come with a spring to pin the regulated apply valve and the isolator valve in the valve body? To be honest it has been over 5 years since I have installed one of these kits. It seems to me if memory serves me correctly we had issues if both were installed at another shop I worked in. You might want to try to remove one or the other and return back to the factory set up to see if it helps any. I believe the pump mod was the one we skipped in this kit. Good luck. Vince
