New best. Thanks to Circle D.
Before the 4C converter I went 12.93@106.5 with a 1.91 60' launching at 1500. After the 4C converter I went 12.67@104.6 with a wheel-pulling 1.67 60'. It pulls the left front for sure, maybe the right as well. Im more than impressed with this converter, as well as Chris's advice, suggestions and excellent customer service. Im cutting better short times some cammed LS1's in St. Louis. All this from a bolton LT1. Ill post time slips tommorow.

Not bad, I doubt you're pulling the wheel, probably just feels like it. And if you're pulling better 60's than cammed ls1's their cars aren't set up right or they can't drive...lol. Post up the slip when you can.

I agree it's possible. I went 1.52 w/ a pt4400 in a bolt on 99Z. I'm just saying a properly setup cam car should out-60ft a bolt on lt1.

lt1s dont need a 4k stall.. they do good on a smaller-ish stall..
it is possible to raise the tires with a 1.6 if you have good suspension and weight transfer..
no reason to be a jerk guys.. honestly he really is pulling better times than a LOT of cam only and some H/C cars..

i see a lot of cammed cars not pulling quite the same 60ft as stock ones. i am wondering if it is because a lot of the cammed cars don't kick in until 5000 + rpms. i only pulled a 1.69 in my cammed ls1 and a yank pt 3800. however, i bought this stall not for really hard launches. i wanted some efficiency top end too. i am full weight and i only run 3.23 gears. the str on the stall is only 2.0 so it isn't a hard hitting one. however, this stall plus a swap in brands of long tube headers picked me up over 8 tenths in the quarter....

get a 4k converter in an ls1 with some 410s.. it likes the 60ft.. mine loved it.. i jumped other H/C cars HARD out of the whole.. and had plenty of top end to pull it through, and usually trapped much higher also..

didnt try.. right after i ran all the 7.2s i decided to sell it.. i had a couple buddies offer me their 28s and wanted me to go back down to see how deep i could get in the 6s.. but i lost interest.. i want something faster, but more streetable..
looking to hit mid 6s but drive like a near stock car on my next build..

[QUOTE=JonCR96Z;11860226]You picked up .24 in the 60' and .26 in the 1/4 but only .1 in the 1/8?
It's a gain, but not one I'd be happy with. Unlikely that he's pulling wheels either.
My bad, I was going 8.3 on the stock stall, went 7.99 on the new one. The car is twisting off the line. Ill get pics once they are posted, not sure who took at my track took them. You have to remember that Im a bolton car, and not a full one at that. Ive got headers, a stall and 3.73's. I dont see any other LT1's cutting 1.6 60' with those mods. Im shooting for the bolton record, and Im slowly working towards 11's at the moment. Im spreading the word that Circle D makes excellent converters. Im on stock suspension btw.
