Alright, wondering if this could correct my problem with the transmissions issues I am having. I purchased the harness and such from speartech and had a segment swap, but the transmission is throwing 3 codes and is not running properly. Codes are electrical issues which, I feel is the harness not being wired correctly (had it happen with a hotwire kit I purchased before also). Thinking about trying this and sending the harness and such back.

If you're referring to the original post where the segment swap is not necessary... you're right. The shift schedule tables need to be modified.
I have done many 80e conversions myself and have found this to be the most reliable and easiest way to manage the transmission by far! Once I had figured out the harnesses and PCM pin locations I never looked back!

I have done enough to know that there is no need to do a segment swap when converting a 60e to an 80e.
Yes, as far as the shift tables are concerned I simply copied a known good configuration and moved into tuning it out from there. As you know, no two are ever the same. Very few guys have the exact combination and I prefer to road tune my transmissions for the sake of good driveablitiy. Dyno tuning is not a good procedure to use when dialing in a transmission.

I think vetal has been having tcc lockup issues lately maybe you can help him out slow like you helped me out?
Just to credit slow, he has come through in the clutch when I didn't even know he existed. He sent me some pm's and helped me stage my turbo 80e at the lights as I was having troubles pushing through getting my turbo spooled.
I wouldn't be cutting the tree down on ****'s if it weren't for him!

Disadvantages: Another relay that can go out (not common, but may happen after so many years, just like a fuel pump relay, etc).
Have to delete slipping codes (unless you have EFILive).
With an ISS (and an 80E tune), the PCM will probably be better at detecting slipping clutches.
