Default identification of 4l60e

I picked up a 4l60e and I am trying to find out what year and type of vehicle it came out of. They usually have a tag with like a bar code on it but the tag is gone on this one. it has a couple of casting numbers on it . One is 24206952 that one is on the out side of the case. The other one is inside where the converter goes by the input shaft and it is 24201073 and under that it has g-72a f. I did some searching but didn't really come up with any thing.

Well considering there are only the numbers that I listed on the transmission I was hopeing it could be identified. The link you left did not help but I appreciate it any way.

The serial number is located on the bottom side of the case, right where the tail housing bolts up to. You can identify it that way.
