Smile 4L 80e BLOWING OIL

Hi,my prob is my auto is blowing heaps of oil out of the breather,its not overfull,aint over heating auto has done stuff all miles did have a new sprag and drum due to loosing overdrive car is making 730 rwh.
HELP PLEASE

It could be the pump or if the stall is to high & slipping to much that could be the problem as well.

How is the dipstick calibrated?
There is only one way to know if it's correct.

It could be a problem with the pump.

Thanks Guys dip stick is calibrated my my mechanic took the pan of put a marker all done right it isnt over full.

Take a look at your pump to make sure that there is a small bracket to direct oil away from the vent bolted on the back side. It will be located in the same area that the vent is located but bolted to the pump. If that makes sense.

Also when you had the trans apart did you replace the pump to case gasket? I would make sure that you have a good seal here and also that the gasket is in the correct location. Just a thought. Vince

Thanks to everyones feedback,it was the converter 15 thou run out and worn the pump bush out not happy.
