Default help coolent line clips? (look)

Okay only need help with the little clip things on the coolent lines on the transmission. Cant get the lines off and I need to take the trans out so please help?

take something like a pick, or very very small screwdriver and pry it out. if you lose it ,you can get more at lowes or home depot.

ok thanks. so that yellow thing around the fitting needs moved out of the way first so i can access the clips? yeah im a noob

I thought mine was red, but it could be yellow I guess. yea you can just pull those off, they are plastic.

Got all the damn bolts out. How long are the guide pins? I cant get the thing out. I can see space between the converter and the pump so its comin I guess? Any tips? Ready to get a chain and tie it to another car and the trans and floor it! That will get it out!

you need to unbolt the converter, and pull it with the trans...

Its not that hard to unbolt the converter. Remove the starter and through that whole you can unbolt the coverter. Peace of cake and its only 4 bolts.

are you gonna rotate the trans to get it seated when it come time to reinstall it?

not only that but you WILL destroy your transmission trying to put the trans back in with the converter still bolted up. Not might...WILL. Do it right...take the starter out and remove the converter bolts. Rotate the engine with a big socket on the crank bolt to get each of the 3 bolts one at a time.

Hey guys thanks I got it out. Hey got a question for ya. Im putting a used tranny back in with a different converter. Is it going to be a problem with balance? Where can I get new bellhousing bolts? Thanks for helping.

Balance lol idk but when you remove your trans and torque converter dont you mark the flexplate and converter? Thats what I mean im getting a used trans with torque converter I guess I gotta just bolt it up and hope for the best idk??
