I just put in a 3800-4000 stall from them as well. its a 3C on a 4l80e.
the car got started today and everything seemed fine. I am just waiting on the tunner to show up so we can flash it to an auto and drive it around.
I cant wait either.
Chris is a really nice guy and very helpful. He answered all my questions and made sure I did not F&&&k up my install.
I also got a Circle D tranny. Super nice guys over there.
you made a great choice.

made the convert from M6 to A3 and went with a circle D 4C infront of my th400... not really sure what a stock converter or a higher stall one is suppose to feel like... but taking off from a light all it needs is light throttle and 2000rpm to get going with traffic. Havent had the chance to track it yet or really wind her out past 6000rpm.... but it still pulls like a beast up there!

thanks guys for all of the comments. i know there were more than one choice for a converter and i have heard nothing but good from all of them, but i know someone who switched to a circle-d form another co. and absolutely loved it. so the decision was easy, and yes chris is a real nice guy and very helpful. i went with a 4c 36 to 3800 chris told me it will work real well with my combo and the small amount of spray i will be puting on it. as far as the tranny i wish i had the extra cash to buy a circle-d tranny as well but i am building my own. i have it torn down on the bench right now.
