Default i need an honest tranny builder that builds a badass 4l60

i have a 4l60e that "has some good stuff in it " from the previous owner of the car . well i dont want to put it in there being completely sure its right .
i have a 408 with alot of nitrous so i need something strong

i honestly dont know what is in it hell it might be the baddest tranny in the world or it might just have a shift kit in it i dont know i have never driven it
but it was behind a turbo 6.0l so im sure it has been built but i dont know to what extent

If you have a 408 with "alot of nitrous" your best bet would be to swap to a built 4L80 if you want to retain an overdrive transmission

RPM Transmissions. I would personally do an 80 though and not worry about it again.

Just an FYI the sponsors are not the only builders that are capable of building you a trans for your need. There are alot of good builders out there that dont need to advertise on here. Do a search and find them

Wish that was true around us.Had 4 different tranny sops build there best tranny's and none of them lasted a year.

We use FLT or RPM with no failures. They get serious track time too.

Well I have read good and bad from most of them. But I like the fact that performabuilt has up to a 2 year warranty and no core charge. So to me that is a major selling point

I wasn't really asking for a which vendor again thread I wanted someone to tell me what was in my Trans. And not replace things I already had in there. But I got to thinking no tranny builder is going to half build a tranny. If im going to do it I will get mine checked out to see what is in it. And sell it seperate. And buy a performabuilt

If their Trans were so awesome then why don't they offer more than a 90 day or 6 month warranty. ?

A company could not last very long using your theory, I doubt they have the worst tranny and the best warranty. No trans builder has a 100% customer satisfaction rating. People make mistakes and it suck when you shell out big bucks and have to deal with that mistake.
