Default Will a stall make me faster from a roll?

I am about to get a yank 3200 stall because i want a cam. I was told that stalls are only good from a dig and are completely useless if i were to floor it from say, 60mph. Is this true? I will also pair the stall with 3.73's.

Absolutely! It will keep the car in it's powerband and get the most out of your car in that type of racing.

A Circle D 4C will make all the difference and if you want a crazy *** pull from a roll specifically then the 2E will rock ya!

If your going for a Yank Converter, get a SS3600, you'll be suprised on how tight it is, and yes the shift extension will put you in your powerband for a better pull on a roll

There is a post on here that has like 5 video clips..

But, you will be near the peak power with a higher stall.. so your not waiting for the rpms to climb like in a normal stall.

The speed you are wanting to go from 60 mph, probably not. If you have a high STR rating, then no. A stocker might do better. With a low STR rating, you will have more from a roll. The more efficient the torque converter is, the more top end you will have.

I daily drive my 4000 stall (1.69str) and wouldnt want it any other way!!! VERY easy to drive, and incredibly fun!! Now all i need to do, is get the UMI suspension dialed in, and see what shell run.

stalls help eliminate alot of dead spots a stock stall has. whatever you go with dont look for a cheap TC.
