4th gear 4l60e
So here's the story. The car is a 95 z28 A4. I installed a modified transgo shift kit, it worked fine for about a week then I lost 1st and 4th gear. It turned out being the 1-2 shift solenoid after that it worked well for about 3 days then it started slipping really bad while driving on the freeway 4th gear was the worst. I just had a rebuild kit from probuilt installed. Once I hit the freeway I noticed 4th gear seems like it's slipping really bad. It still goes it I'm just crusing and kinda goes at 2-3rds throttle. Anyone have any clue on what this could be?

I'm not very good with transmission but I'm sure that we replaced the 4th accumulator and we had replaced seals on all the accumulators. Maybe one of the seals didn't seal right?

Hard to say. usually no unless you left the seal off. the 4th accumulator is under the seperator plate in the case. the 4th apply piston is in the servo which is on the side of the trans. when you put the vette servo in there should have been a piston that went into the cover itself this is your 4th apply piston the vette servo works for 2nd.

Okay so we pulled out the servo and everything went fine. Then went for a test drive and apparently the slipping, or what I thought was slipping was actually the torque converter locking up since it's a higher stall... Really felt kinda dumb after that
