Default YANK SS4000 new best 60ft 1.291 h/c/i na 346

Madman travel limiters set a 3/4" from full travel

Front qa1r set to 3 from full loose

SS4000 does it again, with a 1.291 60ft

FLT lvl 6 4L60E

Here is a video of a 1.308 pass, run before was 1.291

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjJ6neiWQAI

Rob was hoping for a 9 sec pass, haha

motor was down on power some, might be bad fuel, 15mph head wind, and repaired headers, will be on the dyno to check it out soon for peace of mind...

No reason to change it with a 1.29 60ft...also I have tried a larger 4400 stall and liked the ss4000 better due to how efficient it is on the topend...

I'm assuming that's the equivalent of getting hit in the back by a moving vehicle........Nice

I liken it to being rear ended by a frieght train.

Glad to see that you got your new transmission in there. That was probably what was holding you back before.

I bet that thing would scream with a PT series converter in it.

you guys should of seen chris put it on the rear bumper a couple weeks ago.....

me & elmer, his dad were right behind the car on launch watching the bumper get closer & closer to the ground until there was no daylight left between the bumper & track.

just an awesome car by a couple of great guys!

good luck on that 9sec slip chris.......

I tried a pt and have the SS in cause it worked better (see vid ), also gained nothing from the built trans, builder actually said it looked really good on the inside, I had some semi built parts in there already (alto bands, etc)

Did you invite me to this thread to argue with you?

So your builder tore down your old trans after you stuck the new FLT in?

no arguement man, just say congrats, instead of it was the trans or a pt would make it fly...I wanted to show you the SS is still doing work cause we had that debate way back, not sure how many have pulled a 1.291 with only 129mph but the list has to be fairly limited...again just sharing results bud

No I pulled my trans and sent it in to get built, I didn't want anyone elses core and was in no rush...took like 3 weeks...
