whats a good stall to go with on a stock ls1 with stock 317 heads

Depends on what you are going to do with the car in the future. Are you going to put a cam in it? If so, what cam? What are your goals for the car? If you want to keep everything stock except the converter, then maybe in the range of 3000-3500. Depends on what you want.

3000 to 3600 seems to be the norm with the SS3600 at the top of the list in sales
