Default Anyone Ever had this prob?

So I switched over from my TCI Converter to a 3600 yank. I bought Arp torque converter bolts and was putting them in, but they would not clear the back cam plate cover bolts on the top. it would rotate around and hit one of them.... So i Had to use the bolts yank had screwed into there converter which looked more like stock and were a lot flatter on the head. Does this sound right?

i think arp bolts are highly over rated and not worth the money. stick to new stock bolts that work/fit all day every day

The TCI Flex plate.

I called yank today and they said that they have heard countless people say they dont clear that u have to shave the head of the bolt down... so thats what we did today and we will see how it works out tommorow.

Reason is the bolts that yank supplied me with well all of them fell out or got thrown off somehow. Because jacked it up today and there were no bolts holding in the converter

Go to the store and buy some longer bolts and trim them to the exact length you need for full thread engagement. Thats what I did. You dont need the ARPs.

Thats funny. Pay attention to what you're doing next time. Just because someone says it will work you don't just slap it in and hope they're right. It only takes a few seconds to determine if a bolt is too long or short.
