PT4000 for my first stall?
Think I may have found my stall. I want something that will 60' decent but give me that higher speed efficiency iv been looking for. It dosent have the hard hitting str the ss series has but from what I gather it pulls like a sob from every speed. Thats what Im looking for. What do you think about this stall?

I highly, highly recommend ptc. I also really like yank but from what I have seen and researched, ptc makes just as efficient of a converter that hits harder than yank in the sixty. You won't hear that much off here because ptc is not a sponsor and yank is but it is my opinion. Jump over to yellowbullet if you want to hear peoples opinion about ptc. Like red said, they are geared more towards the more hardcore racers, for some reason not a lot of street cars run ptc. This has nothing to do with how loose or tight it is, just how it is. The street cars that run ptc cut amazing 60fts.. obdalabla or whatever his damn name is (red camaro), he is on my friends list i believe, also runs a ptc. Full weight h/c car with ptc and also cuts 1.4 short times.
I would get you some vids but I spun a bearing.. I think I have some old vids on pb.com though, search xhk651 or lemons12.. will be like 3-4 vids together and are just normal driving vids, I was showing someone else how my converter acted around town.

Honestly, I have never rode in one but based on what I have heard and seen it seems to be a more hardcore converter. It spares no expense for performance. I see the SS line as a great converter, but geared more towards a street car that goes to the track. The PT series seems to be more track oriented that you can drive on the street. You will see lots of rpms with any big converter and thats just the nature of the beast, but the PT is going to be looser and more free spinning as you could tell from the video. An SS line will keep you running on the top end with equally modded 6 speeds, the PT series will likely put you ahead

How much more of a beating are the cars parts going to take with this beast?

Its all in your perspective IMO. If you are open minded and know you will give up something to gain the performance, then you should be ok. Some i see think performance should come with no trade-offs. Those are people better suited to drive stock cars.
