i was referred to xtreme by the most reputable LSx performance shop in socal (CMS also a sponsor here) when my tranny died unexpectedly from a heads/cam overdose.
i was in a bind and Xtreme delivered (literally). i am really liking this transmission and was pretty surprised at the quality of their torque converters.

they are billet converters with anti ballooning plates. they pull HARD and when you want it, lock up like a pit bull on the mail man...

for the price, you would be an idiot to overlook this. i paid more for a simple non-billet converter with an adapter ring that this one is replacing.

just ordered a level 3 transmission with the 3,000 stall billet converter. will get it next week. hopefully it could handle a little lt1 power.
