Stall time...3600 or 3800?
Is there really that big of a difference.
My car is a stock 01 ws6
stock ls6 intake
long tube headers
off road y
flowcrapster
and a set of m/t drag radials...I needed tires so I just went ahead and got drag radials.
tonight with humid weather and storms around...it rained 3 miles from the track I ran
r/t .270
60' 2.003
330 5.6
1/8th 8.504
mph 85.87
It dead hooked but with the tries it felt like the gripped to much and bogged it down off the line...if that makes since. I'm trying to run in the high 7's even if it's a consistant 7.9

If you planning on a cam in the future than either will be good with the 3800 being slightly better. Get a circle d 3600-3800 or a yank 3600 and you will be happy for sure. If you arent going to be getting a cam I would recomend a 3400-3600

Ive noticed with my dads car. Originally he went 2800. After 2 years, did more mods was to small went to 3200. Too small, went to 4000 yank. Perfect. Dont do it twice, get it right the first time and go big if its not a dd

A converter built for your needs isn't that much more.. And you will enjoy It while it performs much better. Completely worth It.
Ms3 needs a 4000.. However a converter setup to run on motor and a 4000 will probably blow through it on a decent size shot.
Just get a quality converter no matter what, which it seems you are.
As far as normal driving, you will not notice any difference between a 3600-3800. There will be a very slight performance gain.
