I would bet that you would really enjoy a converter that stalled in the 3,200 - 3,600 range. But, it's always best to tailor the converter to the torque curve. I'm not familiar with that camshaft... Do you have an idea where it wants to make power?

From what I've seen, go big or dont do it at all. Many people are un happy they went small and buy another one. Id say 3600

There are some guys who advocate larger stalling converters... some folks like 4,000 rpm units. However, in my experience I have removed many of them because the client decided it was a pain in the *** driving it on the street after a while.

I would caution anyone who uses their car as a daily driver to not get too carried away. There is a tipping point between a rowdy and fun street machine and a bonafide track combination.

Sent my wife to the store in the camaro the other day for the first time ever. She came back and said it drove fine and didn't mind it one bit (cammed, SS4k, gears etc.)....and she is the type to complain about anything she isn't used to (seating position, shifter position etc.). I specifically asked her about the converter feel and she said she hardly noticed it. Its really not bad at all....
