Default 2002 4L80E Transmission Cooler In/Out to Hose Barb Adapter?

I have a 4L80E(year 2002) and i was looking for an adapter for my tranny cooler. basically im looking on threading the adpater in and having a hose barb end so i could hook up my tranny cooler. ive looked around everywhere but i just cant seem too find it. links/part numbers would be great.

maybe something like this? the angle doesn't matter even though a 90 would nice

into the trans case, so i can hook up some transmission oil hoses to a tranny cooler.

the only thing i can think of

purchase this 4l80e to -6AN:



then buy this -6an to 3/8" barb adaper

You can use 1/4 NPT if you don't he-man the fitting into the case.

thats what i was thinking but dont you "have to" use only tube fittings in the rear port of the 4L80e?

i made my own just like your first picture but went to -an for braided line

on the newer trans with the split ports yea you need to run the fitting with the extension

Why not do them with an fittings and push lock hose. I know braided is expensive, but push lock will work great and somewhat cheap. With barb fitting they seem to always leak and I wouldn't want a tranny fluid leak and it getting on the tires at the track or anywhere else.

yes, you can make one from an AN fitting. Vince did it in the past.

I have braided on mine. How much pressure is running through the cooler lines?

Its not so much the pressure, its more the temps. you can easily see 300+ degrees coming out of the converter while on the transbrake.
