4L70e supermatic/ gmpp 19244043?
can anyone confirm that this trannny has a 15pin connection on pass side ?
swapping a 2006 vette ls2 in to 62 impala need 15pin to get factory harness to work (per john at speartech)..

Do you know what year it is from?
2009 and later trans (4L60E, 4L65E and 4L70E) have a different valve body and may not work with a pre-2009 PCM/TCM. See these posts:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagn...cs-2008-a.html
https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...-solenoid.html
In the first thread it looks like the person gave up and got a different trans.
In the second thread, I bought a 2001 valve body, fixed it up, installed a shift kit and using a 2001 separator plate used it in my 2010 4L65E, which works perfectly.
I don't know if the part number is enough to ID the year. If you can pull the pan, see the picture in my thread and compare it to determine if your trans has the 3-2 shift solenoid.
I'm pretty sure all 4LxxE trans have the same connector and location.

If I was using a take out.
But parts guys at dealer don't know what pin connector it has.(19244043). Catalog says use controller in catalog.
My harness can be made to work if it has 15 pin.

Early 4L60E used 12 pins.
A little later, the PWM solenoid was added and then used 13 pins.
I just checked the original internal harness from my 2009 4L65E, it uses 17 pins!
Besides not having a 3-2 shift solenoid, the 2009+ trans also has replaced the pressure switch assembly with a completely different mechanical switch assembly which uses different pins. IIRC, it also has an input speed sensor which uses two more pins. I suppose that if you skip the input speed sensor, you only need 15 pins. (Wires in your harness)
I'm sure Speartech can provide you with the correct harness. The real issue is the PCM/TCM - you must use a 2008 or later PCM/TCM. The PCM with your 2006 LS2 will not work as it expects to have a pressure switch assembly and have a 3-2 shift solenoid. Perhaps Speartech has figured out a special harness and tune, but that would be (good) news.

The way I understand it .... If my controller doesn't work he has on that will for $100 and use my harness ...15 pin used is what I assume he is says will work. Has blue or grey plug.
