Default Best transmission cooler?

I just got my 4L60E rebuilt and I have a Yank PT 4000. I've been doing some research but, I still do t know what cooler to go with. I was told that anything with at least 24K BTU would be good but the bigger the better. Is the one that PCM makes good or no? My engine will be done this week or next so I need some pretty quick answers.

Thanks

I think Long/True cool are the most popular and they make one that is 11x11x1.5 that is close to 30k BTU I run it and have a 3600 stall my trans never gets above 180* even when it 100* out ?

Ok cool. Ya I don't need anything too thick given the fact that my car's lowered, so I think this should work. What web site did you order this from?

I went back and forth between a lot of coolers but ended up getting a Hayden 679 which is a 30k GVW rating. It should be here in a few days.

The ssra just runs in frint of the radiator right. You dont have to put the cooler there you can put it anywhere just try to get it were it gets alot air movement

Here is what we use in the shop for all AT applications. I have one in my TYPHOON and they work great. We are also thinking of using them on the T6060.

I use a huge flex-a-lite tube and fin cooler and rarely see temps over 175.

B&M makes the 70274. You should be able to get it from Summit, Jegs, WS6Store, B&M directly, etc. That is a "race" unit though so it doesn't come with any installation hardware, just so you know.
