How much RWHP can a stall eat up on dyno?

How much RWHP can a stall eat up on dyno?
Does any one have a before and after dyno and know how much RWHP there converter ate up. Just curious on what us A4 guys loose from a converter. I was gonna guess between 8 to 12rwhp but I dont have a baseline run before converter.
Like 2800 stall
3200 stall
3500 stall
3800 stall
4000 stall >>>>>>>>> The higher we go how much do can we loose.

Under 10 HP loss is pretty rare. That equates to about a 3% loss. Typical loss is 4% - 7%.
Stall speed and loss and are not a linear relationship. Loss will increase with stall speed if everything else in the converter is held constant. However, change the converter design as you increase stall speed and you can still maintain efficency.
I lost 12 or 13 HP locked vs. unlocked on a 380 rwhp dyno back when I had a YTP 4200.

At the risk of a war, I don't subscribe to a loss being a percentage. No one can prove that a mechanical loss increases with the power applied. The empirical formula shows that a mechanical system has a constant loss, no matter the power applied, and no one has been able to prove otherwise.
Anyone with a formulaic, mathematically sound, engineering-equated answer?

I have my 3disc 4000 Vig...MY dyno when Jayson from MTI Tuned my H/C/N20 package on my car....I HONESTLY can say my Unlocked was 440rwhp and my Locked was 445rwhp....the Multi-Disc Vig cost me a bunch but it's a badass verter on the track and on the street and is really effecient.
I have the Dyno sheets from an earlier run during the tune on this computer I'd have to swap over my other HD from my regular computer that is down to get the 440 one.
Just lemme know if u want it.

Some things will have a percentage HP loss, if the
losses are speed proportional. In the case of a
converter I believe the losses (slip) are higher at
low RPMs, and reduce as you get closer to fully
coupled up top. The HP loss at peak is going to be
reported there. But the HP loss at other points in the
band are usually not. An eyeball comparison of RWHP
point-by-point is more useful than a single number.
Because how much the converter eats at other points
may be offset by the engine being allowed to output
more.
