Temps how high?
You have ac?
How are you reading temps?
Make sure both fans are working low and high. I spent endless time and money trying to figure why my temps were so hot. Right side fan ended up not working in high but in low they both worked fine.

I run mine with ssra but I don't have ac. My cooler is massive but even before I had the massive cooler I had a smaller b and m. It was fine then also.

Where is the trans sensor you are reading from? Off the PCM? Did you run your own sensor? If so, where is it?
It's high no matter where you're reading from.
I used to try to run a cooler with my a/c and ssra a few years ago. I found out pretty quick that doesn't work well.
Make sure your fans are working. Don't just look at them in low. You have to check both fans in high also.
I think if you are going to keep a/c then that cooler needs to come out of there. Put it dope style and even better would be to run a fan in it.
Another thing is these ram air kits are always advertised that they wont make your car run hotter. Its BS unless you don't have a/c. That's one reason I don't run a/c

That's what I was thinking about the fans. When my high wasn't working the coolant temps were high along with trans temp.

You can take some measurements and come up with something. GL post back what you come up with

I just went through the same thing when I installed my ramair a month ago. I really wasn't crazy about mounting it dope style. I ended up mounting the cooler on to the post where the bumper support mounts to. It mounts it perfectly in front of the vent/duct in the front bumper so its always getting air passing through it. Obviously this can only be done if you don't run a front bumper support. I figured i'd post up some pics just to give you some food for thought.

Same spot I have mine in but kept the crash bar. I just removed the big giant foam piece behind the bumper.

I have mine mounted dope style definitely have to be careful with the car being lowered but average trans temps have been around 180-185 on hot days.
