The Yank Converter selector says i should get a ut4800 or a SS4000E I think thats a little to much for a daily driver if you ask me,This is based off my gear and stuff

I run a 3 disc 4000 Vig with the same H/C combo you are running and I AM EXTREMLY HAPPY.

I highly suggest at least a 4000-4200....that cam and those heads really come on at 4K

I run a Yank PT-4200

I'd suggest at least a SS-4000. I would not go bigger than a PT-4400 based your description. Choices: PT-4000, 4200 or 4400. SS-3800, 4000 or 4200

The stalling going into reverse is a drivability/tuning issue. My car got better just by putting a few miles on it. I'm guessing it's connected to idle relearn.

I have a Vig 3200 and have no problems at all. On motor and spray she runs dam sweet. As you can see in Sig I have X1 and MTI S2 heads. But MTI did all my tuning. Jason is The Best. Something isn`t right with your set-up. As for you guys that think a 3200 is to small, Not true. I love it. Granted If I didn`t spray I would have went with a 3800-4000rpm stall. But NOS is hard as ****!!!! When I spray she flashes like a 3800!. Mouse something isn`t right. Talk to the crew at MTI and find out. Ask Jason the owner, he is very friendly, and will help in anyway. I promise! Good Luck!

THe SS3600 is a good street and strip converter, but it is not really a step-up from your Vig 3200. To make it a worthwhile swap, you need a minimum of the SS4000 and I would go to the YTP-4200. The YTP 4200 is definitely looser, but it is awesome from a roll and 60' times are excellent.

You don't list what tires you are using, but your 60' time suggests you either ran in really bad weather or you definitely need more tire before spending money on more converter.

If your not spraying I'd say go PT4400. Or TCI4400.

I am spraying with 100 wet shot,Ragtop MTI doesnt recommend the SS4000 they recommend the SS3600 they said it will be night and day difference from where I am at now.I am questioning if my converter is even a 3200 ,it may only be a 2800?I just know from the past from a roll I dont have the snap your head back feel its like my verter is just not letting me hall butt.but yet I have got 50 more rwhp and 60 more RWTQ.My car doesnt start really building power until like 4200 I think I dont have my dyno graph in front of me

i didnt realize you were running nitrous...definitly a 3500-3600 stall is gonna be about as high as you want to go.

Oh Ragtop also why I have such a crappy 60 is because of tire spin on et streetsIt was my torque arm ,my pinion angle was way off.Now I have a BMR ajustible with Hal ajustable shocks hopefully no more tire spin, this was before X1 cam and new S@ Heads

Pro Mouse...the 3 Disc Vig I'm running has got to be IMO the perfect converter for your set up. It's the same set set up that I run. round town driving you barely tell you have a big stall...feels like a nice 3200, when you mash the gas if you don't have nitto's or better you will be sideways....even from a freeway punch this thing is sweet. The N20 is great with it.....from a dead stop or from a freeway roll...I love tearing up M6's on the freeway with it...I don't know if I got a freak or what but I wouldn't put another stall in my car. This one works.
