MSD Atomic TCM Controller
So I just bought one since they had this Really good deal this month that if you buy the TCM you get the Harness for free, which is like $150....
I don't have my Trans just yet, but this will go on a 4l60E behind my 67 Firebird's 400.
So Im wondering if anyone has used the MSD TCM??? it must be so new their forums don't even have posts yet.

update this thread when you get it up and running , maybe you are among the first and can give everyone here the inside scoop.
You must also have an adaptor plate from someone to go BOP to ls ?
I have a black 81 TA with 72 nose , very ,very straight car that I have owned for 3+ years , 400/t400/308 posi and have though of doing an ls swap but boy what your doing has some appeal too... OD and lockup convertor might actually make the 400 somewhat economical and the low 1st gear would match well with my 308's.
This also gets a functioning sorted out od trans that's ls compatible in your car so your one step closer to an ls swap and can split up the cost , very interested in your results.

Regardless of what years of 4L60E the TCM claims to support, avoid '94 and '95, which I consider the alpha-test and beta-test years. Also '09 (perhaps some '08) and later will not work because they were designed for drive-by-wire (DBW) and do not have the 3-2 downshift solenoid.
GM made strength improvements in '98 (to support LS1) and in '03 (to support LS2); therefore a 4L60E/4L65E/4L70E between '03 and '07 would be the best choice for strength, likely lower miles, and compatibility.

hi, was searching for help on this tcm and found this post, i'am using
this tcm on a 1990 chevy Cheyenne with 305 tbi and a 4l80e trans ,
a transmission shop installed it for me and they couldn't set it to work
right , I've been trying to adjust the shifting and can't ether, when you
increase the shift multiplier 1st gear shifts at 15mph and very hard
if you decrease shift multiplier all 4 gears shift before I get to 30mph
no matter how many increments up or down, I can't get it to shift
the way I want it to, it has a hand held controller and you can adjust
shift points/ tcc lock up and shift firmness while you are driving,
so just wondering if (dwhess504) ever finish his trans yet

hi, just was checking in to see if you found out how to adjust the shift points I still can't adjust them, 1st gear shifts at 15mph and 2nd gear shift at about
25mph 3rd gear and 4th gear seem like too fast at street speeds (25-30mph)
on the freeway 3rd and 4th gear are ok but 1st gear still holds too long, and
I get a very hard shift.

I'm having trouble with me MSD TCM 2760 hooked up to a 4L60E Transmission year 1995.
It shifts out of first too early, under 20mph,and follows through with shifting out of 2nd and 3rd into fourth before i get up to 30MPH. Initial Setups TPS Calibration keeps coming in as unsuccessful yet the dash and gauge interfaces on my handheld unit shows the TPS % correctly working.
Can anyone help?
