With that cam a 3600 would be perfect.

But i will tell you, after awhile you will wish you went with a bigger stall. You can easily daily drive a 4000 stall.

I had a vigilante 3200.. I swapped it for a circle D 5c converter... it drives just as civil but pulls like a monster..

My cam has similar specs and I have a 3600 stall, and I think its perfect for the street. If you are looking to only spend $500, you should look into PTC converters.

228/232 .612/.600 111 Lsa. A 3200 would work fine but like the other guy said, you'll end up wanting more. I like my 3600 but could easy go with a 4000+ and would love it.

kind of off topic, but that car must suck to drive with that cam and no tune with the stock converter.

You'll get different responses from everyone here asking what converter to go with, but I would go with either a yank ss4000 (I have the ss3600 currently) or FTI 4000 Hit Hard personally. I have heard great things about PTC, Vigilante, and Circle D as well. Either way you cant go wrong with any quality converter.

Also, you will need to run a decent sized transmission cooler. The higher stall converter will heat the fluid up fast so you need to keep temps in check.

Ss3600 from yank or the circle d equivalent ($700ish) if you budget is tight at 500 call ptc and get one of their $500 9.5" specials.
