Default Attaching Fan to Stacked Plate Cooler

Has anyone attached a fan to a stacked plate transmission cooler? I have a B&M cooler and unfortunately the plastic rods commonly used to mount fans won't go through the cooler. I'm most likely going to have to make a bracket to mount the fan to the cooler but curious if anyone else has come across this. Please post pics if you have done this install.

Haven't done it yet but I plan to make some simple brackets to attach the fan. With my fan setup it looks like it will be a matter of a couple of metal straps to attach the two together.

Mine was able to grab the lips at the edges of the cooler. If the fan is smaller the adapt some type of flat bracket.
