Default Tranny cooler in front of A/C, engine temp??

For those that have the tranny coolers installed in front of the a/c and radiator, do you have higher engine temps now?? I am going to install one on my wife's TA and we live in AZ so it's f'in HOT here, we use the A/C all the time, and I don't want it to heat up now due to the cooler blocking the condensor. Any help will be awesome, thanks!

160 thermo, tranny cooler in front of a/c, recalibrated fan settings, heads/cam, 90 degree weather w/ a/c on=180 degree coolant temps in my case so i dont think you should have much to worry about

I'm sure there is so much volume of air passing through that it should not cause any problems.

Cool, looks like I will be getting this done asap. I will get LS1edit for the car so no need for fan switches. I just don't want the a/c to not work right or the engine temps to get hot.

Thanks for the info guys!

fan switch as in a manual one, that way if you are stuck stopped in traffic you can turn them on to keep the car cooler

works good at the track too between bracket rounds

With FTRA (lower plate installed) and a cooler, I notice that my fans run more and on very hot days the car runs 10* - 20* hotter. I think the FTRA lower plate is the big factor. Since I have the 160 T-Stat, running hotter puts me back around stock temps so I don't worry about it.

I can turn the fans on sooner with LS1edit, so I wouldn't need the switches (I know what you are talking about ) so I won't waste my time and money on them, I know they aren't expensive either, just no need. She doesn't ever go to the track, probably because it's stock

No FTRA on this car, so no need to worry about that blocking the air, heating things up, etc. Just want to make sure it won't increase the temps with it installed in front of the radiator, etc.

Thanks for the info!
