Tune after converter install.
I'm having a 3200 stall from Midwest installed today. Will I need a tune afterward? I'm not sure how the PCM will handle it.
Car is otherwise stock besides Headers and a lid.
Thanks.

i have to start out saying. "in order to get the most out of any new mod a tune can/should be done"
but no, you really dont need a tune after a TC install. mine works just perfect i didnt have anything changed. once you start playing with shift points etc it is pretty much a trial and error basis until you are happy. i lost some mpg but i do alot driving. i would save your money for a tune down the road when you NEED one. do some more mods (ported TB, LT's, cam, intake) and then you will need a tune. you are going to love the TC! make sure you have the biggest cooler imaginable!

it should only make the trans think its slipping if the stall is above a 3500 or so, also depending on the year of the car, 01 and 02's they say are affected the most or easiest. Only suggestion i can say is GO BIGGER before you put it in, if not you will probably regret it later.
