I always recommend a trans cooler when running a higher than stock stall converter. The best out there is the B&M 24K trans cooler.

yes, a trans cooler is a must. Look into Vig3200, TCI3500, and the Yank SS series of converters for more streetability. I see you are from Houston, how often do you go to HRP?

look to spend around 60$. i read that your thinkn about a bigger cam or gears. u need to stop. read. search. then move forward. u REALLY need to get aplan of action together instead. think of what you want the converter to do. hit the tires hard, or easy on the tires, or efficeincy? then once u get the converter, look at cam options for a stock car. if your going to do a cam, you will end up having to do more then "just the cam" rockers etc.. and you need to get a cam that matches up with where your converter is most potent. next there is nothing stronger than your stock gears. if you go to aftermarket you are weakening the rear end a lil bit, and the 7.5 rears arent really worth throwing gears in....
