converter and gear question
i have an 02 SS A4 with 3.23 gears and am wanting a bigger stall. i was wondering what is a good stall converter for a stock car and if i should put in some 3.73s to go with it or am i better off with the stock gears?

TCI3500 is awesome for the price! cant beat it. if you have some cash laying around go with a vig3200. i have one and love it. or if you have alot of cash layin around call yank and see what they recommend

leave the stock gears. they are just fine and are the strongest. if you went to 373's it would tighten up the converter, but now you are weakening the rear end. 410's are defiantely not the way to go. i blew my rear with one good hook on nittos and a vig3200

I have a Y3000 2.0 STR coupled to 3.73's.
I would go at least a 3500 stall 2.5 or 2.7 STR for a vehicle with 3.23's.
