Default Converter Install Write-Up??

Anyone know of one. Ordering one tomorrow (i'm so pumped!) and it's always nice to have a "go-by" of sorts...

Thanks!

I've got mine coming in soon and I'm contemplating doing it myself to save money. But after looking at that guide, I'm not so sure.....

It's not that hard of a process guys. Drop tranny, take out converter, put in new one, bolt the tranny back up.

Honestly though, the hardest parts is getting the tranny off the guide pins and getting it back on the guide pins. I did this on a gravel driveway at my house. If I can do it, any one else could. It helps to have someone helping you also.

Sweet thanks!

I had to drop the tranny on my 93 Formula M6 to install a new Spec 2 clutch. Kinda assumed it'd be the same, but never dropped an A4 before. I bet hardest part is still finding the dang bell housing bolts!

Nah it's not that hard if you have the right extensions to get to them. Make sure you have a 3' extension, about 4-5 3" extensions, and a swivel. You should be alright getting to every one of them with all of those.

the tranny dipstick and the e-clips on the tranny cooler lines are the biggest pains... and make sure you dont rip the dipstick seal

Make sure you get the converter pushed all the way on.
