Yank 4000 stall results =)
I have a '01 Z28 with 3.73's and M/T ET streets. With that I ran 8.35 @ 85.xx mph (1/8). I installed a Yank SS 4000 and dropped to 7.706 @ 87.xx mph! My 60ft also dropped from a 1.93 to 1.600 with the driver side tire in the air. Nothing is done to the motor. Just to let you guys know who are lookin for the right converter.

A buddy of mine runs damn close to what you're running. His got your setup except his is a 98 and has longtubes. Yank converters are the ****. I put a SS3600 in my LT1.
He ran a best of 12.07 @100.1

Very nice times. I have the same converter and 3.73s. My only problem is traction, but I have a lot more mods/399rwhp. I had to use the traction control and it still got me 1.6s and in the 11s. Can't wait to get some slicks. I think 1.4s are very possible with this converter, nice choice.

Great times for just the converter and gear. I thought I was doing great by running 7.819 @ 87.252 with a 1.676 60' time and a 5.004 330' time. You've just blown my times right out of the water. Just curious, what was your raceweight? Also, do you still have the stock 10 bolt? Headers or any power enhancing mod? I've got a 12 bolt which I know is slowing me down vs a 10 bolt (-12 horsepower on the dyno ) but it's a trade off I feel like was a good one. Your car is scaring an 11 to death in the 1/4 mile. Way to go.

Theres no way I would hook by just flashing it off the line. I tried brake stalling it up to 3000 to load the susspension and then quickly getting off the brake, as soon as it would jump I slowly put the gas to the floor and as soon as the converter would hit I just started spinning. I pulled the 1.6s the same way but with the traction control on so when the tires would start to spin it would let up on the gas untill they hooked. Its not the best technique but it got the job done. I didn't have enough time to practice launching without the traction control on. I think I only made 5 passes. 12.1,12.0,12.8,11.94,11.96. First 3 where spinning, last 2 had the traction control on.
