My trans mount is toast..I keep reading about the vibration from the poly one..what other options do I have aside from buying another shitty rubber one?

i have a poly mount and is not too bad, i got used to it, but the only time i feel it vibrate is when the converter locks up (mostly highway) so it kind of all depends on what is acceptable to you.
and someone corect me if i am wrong but isnt there also the energy suspension ones?

Yes, you can go to any Autozone and go at the suspension part of the store, and you will see right on the shelfs they have Energy Suspension trans mouns for rwd GM's. They are firmer than stock, but softer than the Prothane ones.

I know about the poly ones. Basically I'm asking my only 2 options are dealing with a shitty stock one or dealing with a vibration causing poly one. Right?

I've also seen a few posts about the Energy Suspension mount being a bit taller and causing a drive shaft angle problem that causes a vibration. I'm installing one now and I'm shimming the crossmember down to compensate for the height difference. Tell ya how it turns out.

The Energy Suspension isn't the same one as the Prothane Polyurethane. I searched and found out that the energy suspension is much softer, so it most likely will not cause a large vibration if any. Mine doesn't have a vibration.

I heard they don't make the 1LE anymore. Does anyone know? I just installed the ES poly unit and so far it is terrible. Sounds like a B&S engine is running inside the car!

My ES poly mount I just put it is nowhere near as vibration inducing as my broken stocker. I think that guys who complain about vibration are a bunch of pussies.

When I had the poly mount it vibrated so bad it was enough for the knock sensors to pick up, especially in a cam car.

Do a search dude, they can be found. I'll send you a PM of a place I know for certain still carries the mount.
