Default (hitting Rev Limiter) Need Help!!!!

I have a 2000 SS
TREX
4l60E w/3500 SSF converter and 4.56 gears
I know I know!!!
But I am hitting revelimiter on 2ndto3rd gear hard and I am at least losing 2 tenths because of it. I have diablo programmer and I have tried all kinds of revlimiters and shift points and nothing
The other 2 shifts are fine. Will I have to delete torque managment?
Wiil it help and corect the shifting?

We'll he's got a Predator so the base tune removes torque management. I had similar problems when I put in a SSF3500.

You need to retune the shift points MPH and RPM otherwise you will hit the limiter almost everytime. Set the mph to shift sooner w/ the predator. If I can find out what I used to set mine to I'll let you know. ( I had a Predator too, although I was and still am running 3.23's)

I dropped my shift points down to around 5800-5900 to keep away from my limiter of 6200. Im still running 3.23's though so you may need to take it down some more with the 4.56's.

You will probably have to set the MPH a lot lower. I had a 4.10 and I had to set the 2-3 shift way down when I used a Predator.

id try logging somehow what your tranny is doing to be sure of what's going on. (What RPM it's occuring at, how much slip you're getting, and if it isnt actually shifting into 3rd, then flaring and pushing you into redline

Am I correct when I repeat wahat you said: The base diablosport tune deletes TORQUE MANAGEMENT. My programmer does not say anything anywhere about torque management deletion. So it does it automatically?

I am guessing that I need more torque for the transmision to shift right.
EX: I used to have this problem all the time with full bolton's NO HEADERS.
Problem corrected itself after header install.
