Smile Building a Beast

whats up guys...i Just got a 2001 black WS6 A4 it only had 19,500 miles on it when i got it so i plan on keeping it for a while. I put the SLP cold air duct in but thats it. I just ordered SLP loudmouth and and Diablo Tuner. Does any one have any good ideas on the best possbile thing i could do next? Gears, Torque Converter, Induction?? Whats the next best possible thing i could get to give me noticable HP without spending a crazy amount of cash .....thanks

Converter. There are ways to dramatically make your car faster without touching the engine.

Get the converter... i used to get that **** too (Ahh too bad its a slow automatic...) Since the converter i havnt heard those words at all.. Also picked up about 7tenths in the quarter. I'd recomend a good stall and some sticky tires.

Definately start with a converter.

When you want more after that, 3.73 gears are nice (for non engine mod) - or you can start in on cam, heads, exhaust, juice, boost.

It's one of those mods that has probably the biggest impact on performance (for a single mod) yet anyone looking at your car wouldn't be able to tell what you did to it...

And yeah there is a very large misconception in the general public that Autos are slower yet it's quite the opposite once you start modding...

Get a converter and a tranny cooler if you dont have one already.. then maybe some suspension parts.. the HP doesnt matter if you can get it to the pavement.
