Th400 which crossmember with BMR torque arm?
Can I use the BMR transmission crossmember that relocates the torque arm with the TH400? I found conflicting posts in the swap thread. What length tail do I need on the TH400?
I am hoping all I have to do is buy Spohn's adapter.
Thanks,
Kevin

If you have a stock style tq arm, htn the BMR th400 crossmember with TQ arm relocation will work for you, regardless which manufacturer the tq arm was made from. If you already have a spohn chssis mount arm, a regular TH400 crossmember from bmr is all you need. It will work with a short or long tailshaft TH400, you'll just have to grind the mount a little where the trans bushing attaches to the crossmember for a long tailshaft tranny... that is what BMR told me before I bought the crossmember, a chromoly stock style tq arm and their d.s loop. Hope this helps!

I am swapping from an M6 to the 400. I have read that there are two different lenth tails you can get with the 400 and you can use the M6 style crossmember with one of them. I was hoping someone could verify which tail would work with my existing M6 crossmember. I am running the BMR M6 crossmember that relocates the BMR torque arm off of the transmission.
Thanks,
Kevin

I have seen that BMR and Yank both make crossmembers for the TH400 with integrated torque arm mounts. Spohn makes a mount for the TH 400 that is supposed to get it to the right height and use the stock crossmember.
None of these sponsors have anything to say about what length tailshaft you need to have to use these mounts.
