Default Whats wrong with my tranny?

I went to the track last night, and the 1st run i launched from 2000 rpm and went fine up the track but when the car got to the top of 2nd it hit the rev limiter and wouldnt shift into 3rd. The second run i left it down in 1 and went to shift up through the gears but as it was gaining rpms it hit the rev limiter at 4500 and jerked the car so i accidentally threw it into nuetral. I let the rpms come back down and i put it back into od, but as i hit the gas it just revved up like it was in nuetral instead of accelerating. Is my tranny about to go?

Better drive that thing to a shop to avoid tow fees!!! Be really careful when selecting a transmission. A lot of people end up replacing transmissions over and over again.

on question, did you recently install a converter? if so you could be having pcm issues that would make it feal like the tranny is gone/toasted at one point then the next day it will seam fine.

That is no **** I have blown 3 tranny' s because I would put any old crap in there and then I took that same crap out and put the same crap in. I am thinking of going with the Dr Evil from speed inc.
