Default Should I go TH400 A3? hmmmm

I need UNBIASED, SERIOUS replies please.

Here is the situation. I have a 99 Camaro, bolt on car basically, approx. 350rwhp. I am bolting my D1sc on soon and going to run 8psi for this year until I have money to build the motor and up the boost. So I will be looking at 500-550 rwhp this year. I recently put in a McLeod twin disc clutch, updated hydraulics, etc. That clutch is good for plenty of power/abuse, but the M6 is not.

I have been in a few TH400 A3/4l60e A4 D1sc cars (non-fbody's- 86 monte ss, etc), and know how they behave on the street. Right now the car is a DD but I plan on buying a Jeep or something to beat around in soon. I cannot decide whether or not to keep the M6 or go with the A3 to hold the power once I build the motor. The car will be a street/strip car, more-so street. If I choose to go TH400 A3, I would want to sell the whole M6 assembly ASAP since the clutch is brand new. Here are the pros/cons as I see them:

M6 "pros":
Fun on street
Better gas mileage
Highway speeds/rpm

M6 "cons":
Break easier
Cost more to fix

A3 "pros":
Great ET's/60'
Less breakage/no breakage

A3 "cons":
Highway speeds/rpm
Gas mileage

So what should I do? I cannot decide and wish I had 2 Camaro's to have one be an M6, and the other A3. Any insight/opinions are appreciated.

Thanks
Andy

Buy another z instead of a jeep, or get a 4l80e that way you still have overdrive.

I need a bad weather "beater" for snow/rain/etc. A 4l60/80e camaro won't be good in snow.

Keep with the M6. No matter how consistant or string a TH400 may be, it will never come close to being as fun to drive as a manual

Well, I have decided to keep the M6 for now. Being that the car is a DD, and I don't have much cash, I am going to keep the M6. The car will be a street car/show car with moderate power.
