flexplate for 4L60e
Is the only flexplate that is compatible for the 4L60e a TCI? I know a couple different other companies that have nice flexplates, but they are only compatible with a 350 or 400 trans.
I was looking at a post about a year ago from this site and read some negative things about the bolt holes. That kind of made me weary of TCI.

How nice? For something under 500HP or so, might just
want the '98-'00 flexplate (somewhat tougher, much
less expensive). For higher RPM and engine output you
might consider an SFI piece to be "health insurance"
for your ankles....

A lot of companies make flexplates for the LS1 and the 4L60E. Some are ATI Performance (not ATI ProCharger), Coan, Meziere ... to name a few. Also B&M will be coming out with a new Radial Tension Technology (RTT) unit very soon.
Last check, GM only sells one version for replacement of an LSx flexplate, which looks nothing like the production pieces I have seen out of early and late F-Bodies. It is a generic unit, for early 6.0L applications they list an adapter kit.

Coan uses the Reactor. I wanted to go with that peice, however they are not made for a 4L60e. I already ordered the TCI flexplate..I just hope I don't run into any problems as some have. I didnt know about the ATI and Meziere flexplates though. That's pretty much what I needed to know.
Thanks
