the hypertech is junk, and a waste of $. put it back in the box and sell it and buy a 100$ shiftkit if you want firmer shifts. don't even put the tune into the car, it'll probably run better on a stock tune.

Hypertechs are not junk in an A4 car, if you know how to use them. That "JUNK" got me my first 12" run with the stock converter, by adjusting the shift points. I have used 100% firmness from day one and I think it's fine. Broke trans a couple years back but that was do to a bad sprag that broke my rear planetary, not caused by shift firmness.

I say leave it at 25% or 50% on the road and 75% at the track (100% if money is on the line ). My friend left his at 100% for about 25000 miles, and It messed up the transmission in his SS.
