Thumbs up

I have used it for 3 years now at 100% no problems. Have even raced it turn 13.77 at 104 in 1/4 mile.

they get bad reviews but they still seem to sell well.

the hypertech is junk, and a waste of $. put it back in the box and sell it and buy a 100$ shiftkit if you want firmer shifts. don't even put the tune into the car, it'll probably run better on a stock tune.

Well I put it to 25% but wasn't to much of a difference then I put it to 50% this felt better nice firm but not harsh.

When I used one for fans/gears/firmness I used 50% - friend of mine still uses the tune/fans and firmness at 50% on his 2k with stock stall.

Hypertechs are not junk in an A4 car, if you know how to use them. That "JUNK" got me my first 12" run with the stock converter, by adjusting the shift points. I have used 100% firmness from day one and I think it's fine. Broke trans a couple years back but that was do to a bad sprag that broke my rear planetary, not caused by shift firmness.

it wont run hotter, but it will decrease the life of the transmission, unless you are racing it, leave the firmness alone

I say leave it at 25% or 50% on the road and 75% at the track (100% if money is on the line ). My friend left his at 100% for about 25000 miles, and It messed up the transmission in his SS.

I think your friend messed his up by driving hard for 25,000 miles.
